Leaving on a Jet Plane

In almost a week I am going back to my hometown to visit family. I haven’t been back to Minnesota in over a year. In that time my sister got pregnant and had a baby boy. I am an uncle for the first time and I am really excited to see my nephew. I have been so busy with work. I just hope that even though I don’t post on the forum everyday and that the DRC site needs a lot of work done before launch, that people know things are happening behind the scenes. Currently I think I am managing more things then I have time to do. At work I have a To Do List. The list has items on it like sending out beta invites, figuring out open beta tasks, updates to web pages, and many other things. The list is long. I am trying to kill items on that list before I leave on vacation. Some might ask why I am taking vacation at this time. The holidays are coming soon. Holidays are a great time to spend with family, but I worry about being away from Myst Online at that time. With launch and then most people playing while they are on holiday, I need to be around. I’ll still spend the holidays with the one I love. I have moved this vacation two times now. I was going to try to do it in July, but was worried about a deadline at that time. Then I was going to do it in August, but that didn’t happen. So I picked a date and bought the tickets. More soon.

We know you're all hard at work, making sure you give us fans the best experience we can get.

But, like she said: Go and have some fun!!! Visit family, visit friends, relax and enjoy the time you can have with them. And remember, we are one of the most laid-back and fun-loving of online (and world) communities, so if things end up taking a bit longer to get out to us, we know it's because the end-result will be a high-quality experience unlike any other out there. :)
