A ponder.

So as of late I have been thinking of my role at Cyan Worlds Inc. Now its been said that roles don’t matter at Cyan. But they do, maybe not to everyone, but roles not only give direction for some individuals but a meaning to come to work, a meaning to give it their all, a meaning to believe. When I have a question on animation I don’t go to Billy Bob, no I go to the lead animator. The person who has put their heart and soul into what they do and try to make it the best it can be. If I were to go to Billy Bob it would be like asking a car mechanic to fix my computer printer. First, it isn’t going to get fixed or hardly looked at. Second, you think the car mechanic even wants to look at my computer printer? All I am saying is its stupid for anyone to believe a car mechanic can fix a printer, without hurting the printer in the long run. I know my role, but do you know yours?

So, another one leaves

Out of the gated parking lot of Cyan worlds Inc he goes. A streak of blue thru this great nation he travels. Where to next? That is still undetermined. I guess the ending really has not been written. If anyone is keeping score, since I have worked at Cyan 12 people have left.

At least I have my health

So, I talked a lot about work in this post and it’s just an odd time to talk about Cyan. No matter what happens I will try to keep my head up and a smile forward. Always have and always will. It’s easy to get negative and lose morale. Half the time I can’t blame people for doing so. But giving in isn’t my cup of tea. I’d rather be positive while the world is burning around me then fool myself in believing that nothing can ever change, and in doing so lose faith in it all. I still have faith, I still believe.
